Your Rights, Feedback & Complaints

Speaking up should always feel safe. Here is what you can expect from Aurora, and how to raise something with us.

You have the right to:

  • Be treated with dignity and respect
  • Make choices about your supports
  • Be involved in decisions
  • Have your privacy protected
  • Feel safe
  • Ask questions
  • Change or stop supports
  • Use an advocate or support person
  • Give feedback or make a complaint without being treated unfairly

Feedback and complaints

We want participants to feel comfortable speaking up. Feedback helps us improve, and raising a concern will never affect the support you receive.

You can contact Aurora directly, or ask a family member, nominee, advocate or support coordinator to contact us on your behalf.

Independent support

You do not have to come to us first. You can contact the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission independently at any time, and you can involve an advocate to help you.
