Community Participation

Aurora works alongside participants to access activities, appointments, everyday errands, recreation and social opportunities that are meaningful to them.

Support is one-to-one and led by you. Some people want company and practical help; others are working towards doing more independently over time. Both are valid, and we adjust as your confidence changes.

Who this may suit

• NDIS participants with community participation funding in their plan

What Aurora does

• Plan outings with you in advance, including accessibility, quiet times and back-up options

Person-centred scheduling

Sessions are booked for the days and times that suit your week, including regular standing bookings for activities you attend often.

We keep worker matching consistent so outings feel familiar rather than starting again each time.

What Aurora does not provide

• Group programs, day centres or centre-based group activities
• Clinical, therapeutic or behaviour support services
• Supervision or care arrangements outside an agreed support session
• Activity entry fees, meals or personal purchases, which remain the participant's own costs
• Support that could not be delivered safely with one worker
