Daily Personal Activities

Aurora may provide ordinary assistance with everyday personal routines where the support is within our approved service scope and the assigned worker's competency.

Support is provided according to the participant's assessed needs, their support plan, Aurora's service scope and worker competency. We confirm exactly what is and is not included before support begins, and we revisit that as needs change.

• Practical support around the home

Who this may suit

• NDIS participants funded for assistance with daily personal activities
• People who need a hand with morning or evening routines
• People who want the same familiar worker for personal supports
• Participants building independence in parts of their routine over time
• People whose needs sit within ordinary (not high intensity) personal support

What Aurora does

• Agree the specific tasks, level of assistance and preferences in writing before support starts
• Assign workers whose assessed competencies match the support required
• Protect privacy and dignity throughout every visit
• Raise concerns openly and review the arrangement when needs change

Person-centred scheduling

Personal supports are booked at consistent times, because routines matter. Where possible the same small group of workers attends, so you are not explaining your preferences repeatedly.

Where medication is part of a routine, assistance is limited to what is authorised in your support plan and within the worker's assessed competency.
